I think you can do it. I lost 8 inches in 3 weeks! The elliptical may help with reducing your hips but spot reducing is usually impossible..

You can totally do it! You go girl!

Try some yoga and pilates it really works on taking inches off. But also do cardio for that extra reinforcement to shed the inches

Wow, can I just say that that is an amazingly difficult style for anyone to pull off? It even makes the model look like she's got a bit of a tummy.

That said , I definitely think you can do it. I'd probably up the exercise and be extra vigilant with what you're eating.

Good luck!!

watch what you eat...(duh? right?) and WORK OUT WORK OUT WORK OUT...

Your muscle will be leaner and even if the scale doesn't move.. you'll lose the inches... step up the walks... push the intensity...

It's DEFINITELY possible!

Am I the only one who thought this:
It's your girlfriends wedding and honestly even if you think the dress is ugly you should wear it with pride knowing your girlfriend picked you for her MAID OF HONOR! It's her day to shine and she must have liked it to pick it out so let her be happy and wear the dress with a huge smile and with lots of love and support on her big day!
From what I read it sounds like you want to lose enough weight and inches to go down 2 sizes so you can get a different dress? If that is it then I repeat what I said in the first sentence. But if you're just trying to look better in it then my mistake and I will insert my big foot into my big mouth!

But I do agree with all the other answers on how to drop inches and pounds.

1st off i am happy for her and it is her day to shine im all smiles 4 it but the dress i dont look good in its not my style i would have never picked it out myself but in the beginning she let me chose the dress i wanted to wear n i did and i felt bad cuz she like me in that 1 and i went back in changed it. so i did it for her yes i do want to lose the inches to look better in it cuz right now its horrible looking but if poss i want to get down to a size wear they cant alter it but if they can i will wear it with all smiles cuz it is her day and she knows that i am losing weight n so is she happy 4 me. honestly i think she rather me lose the "dress" sizes then be wear im at now cuz honestly i didnt want to be wearing a size 30 and when i did try it on at the store it was big to begin with i dont want to be that size 4 the wedding or nowhere near it

I know what you mean. Even if you have to wear the ugly dress, it will look better in a smaller size. Good luck, I know that you can loose the inches before the wedding.
