I am no expert on these matters but I know when Tiggy Legge - Bourke (SP) took it up the papers were full of how it had made her shed stones....even considered it myself..mnever actually got around tp it though !!
I am fine, thanks for asking BPB! Loads of other new stuff going on at the moment. AND I am still hunting down the perfect job!!!!!!
In-line skating is a wondrous exercise. It can really help you shed ounds and get toned BUT it is a dangerous sport!!!
If you never learned to ice skate well as a child then I would seriously consider giving trying out in-line skates a big MISS! The chances of you falling and doing yourself a serious injury are great! A friend of mine proved this last year 2 days before her final law exams. She CAN skate and was trying to teach me. I was skating slowly and carefully and still managed to break a finger. She was so busy trying not to laugh she slammed herself head first into a wall and knocked herself out!
On a less personal side, those of us who are overweight don't always carry ourselves properly and in-lining demands perfect balance and total confidence. An overweight person is less likely to be balanced or strong enough to attain the posture needed to skate safely. The fact that in-lining gets such good results tells you it is a HARD thing to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to be a wet blanket but I can't recommend them, unless you learned to ice skate well as a kid that is!!!!!!
Good luck if you choose to ignore me! If you can do it you will notice the difference in how you feel and how you look very quickly! Stef
PS You need to have good strong ankles, knees and hips to do this too!
yes buckie is buckd=fast wine and beleive me if you started to drink that at weekends youd soon give alcohol the big push because its minging absolutely and no 2 ways about it DISGUSTING
Sounds weird to me! Why would monks brew something so disgusting? Usually drinks made by monks are really nice - not that I've had many only Mead and Benedictine - but they were really yummy!
I thought that the most popular head banging drinks were strong lager, strong cider, that pear wine stuff(?) and (gross) cheap sherry. Never heard of this buckie stuff - must be a local delicacy...
