After comparing a number of diet delivery programs, I decided to give Bistro MD a try. It's expensive, but I'm a single guy in his 20s, so I have the extra money to spend on it at the moment. (And hey, what's more important than my health, right?)
Anyway, I was surprised at how much food came in the box! Food quality so far is pretty good. I was very impressed with the quality of the chicken. I don't think I've ever had frozen chicken that's tasted so good. At first I was a little concerned about the breakfasts being so small, but after having a few, I see that they're protein-rich foods, so it feels like you've had a lot more.
I haven't talked to one of their dietitians yet. Anyone know if they're helpful?
Hi It's been a while since I tried it, but I remember being amazed by how much food was in the box! I never talked to their dietitians, so I don't have anything helpful to say. I'm vegetarian now, so I won't use them again, but hope they'll consider vegetarian offerings in the future.
Hi. I am on my second week of BistroMD. I,too, am single and figured it cost as much as going out to eat all the time. I haven't talked to the diet gurus either. I am not a huge fan of their breakfasts...I don't prefer sweets. The second week I got was a lot better than the first. I love the egg breakfasts though. I will say, I am switching from the 7 days with snacks to 5 days without snacks. I rarely eat the snacks, even though they are good..I am just busy and forget. The only other complaint I have right now is that I am somewhat tired of Asian food. I hope you do well on it. I like it ok as of now.
I'm on Week 14 of Bistro MD, but I've had to do a ton of modifications because I avoid wheat gluten, and that means I can only have about 30% of the items they offer (doesn't matter--I love 'em and am really enjoying 'em even without all the variety).
I've been dealing with my own Bistro MD dietitian since before I signed up on the program. She's the BEST! Very smart, understands food allergies, always very sweet and prompt with replies by email. Even with some bumps in the road with orders containing a few wrong items here and there (at first), they've always been great to deal with and that level of customer service means a lot to me.
I'm going to be calling today to shift from the 7 days + snacks plan to the 5 days with no snacks plan. Gotta save a little money and also now that I "know the deal," I believe I can make good choices and still lose weight.
(Although, I'm like an iceberg. I lose weight VERY slowly. A pound a week. *sigh* But at least the numbers are headed in the right direction!)

Good choice! Nothing else needs to be said, you've already seen how good the food is so far and how much comes in the box. ;-p
