Default Nutrisystem - I'm scared to death!

I just received my food in the mail and I have to say...
I'm a little freaked out! The potions are so small! Is this enough
food to live on? I don't want to fail!

Don't panic - you will do just fine and will not be hungry. Just space out your meals, and be sure to include the additonal dairy, protein, fruit, etc. Also be sure to drink your water. You will notice on the nutritional labels that the meals are very high protein and fiber, too.

Kristy - you don't live on the NS foods alone! You need to add in protein/dairy, fruits, veggies and one fat serving. Plus you will get a low GI carb during some point of the day.
Read the meal planner guild that came in your box. If you didn't get one - call customer service right away to get your copy.

Hi Kristy,

I felt exactly the same way when I started. The first thing I tried was the scone and I remember thinking....they have got to be kidding! But, the longer you are on the program, the more you realize...this is what a portion is supposed to look like and it really does fill you up! Lori and Snowgator are right...you must be sure to get your add-ins...they are very important. Space everything out, and you will be eating every few hours. For me, the first week was the worst for hunger, but you really get thru it and I feel so much better. Drink lots and lots of water...You will do great!

Default thinking about nutra system

Hi!
I've ordered once before so I'm familiar with the food. My husband & I both need to lose...but we have a budget. I was thinking of ordering one order for us to share. I think the lunches could help us a lot (though small). He gets a salad along with his at work...other wise his food line is absolutely tempting.
I am always rushed at work & the quick fix is the food line which is $ 3 and great...but a full meal. I wish I had a salad...I guess I could bring one (what a concept).
I also think I may attempt to do this along with ww...what do you you think? I looked at your blogs, what worked for you?

At first I was slightly hungry but after a short bit, my body adjusted and that extra protein helped balance out my blood sugar levels so I wasn't all to hungry. It was pretty cool and I lost a few lbs
