Default Question?

I've only been here a couple of weeks and although I've tried to read a lot, this is a huge forum!! Anyway, as the folks in the 200s get down to the 100s, they call it Onederland....I was just wondering if there is something for the folks going from the 300s down to the 200s? If not, may I suggest Twoderland? Anyway, the reason I was asking is because I'm only 2lbs from being back down in the 200s! I am excited and can hardly wait!! I hope I make it by this Monday.

Congrats, that's fabulous!

I've seen the word "Two-terville" used often. :0)

Keep up the wonderful work and I wish you much luck for a TwoLicious Monday!

Julia Hood--good luck! I hope we both make it by Monday. I am going on a trip up to North Georgia to see my nephew graduate college, so it's going to be hard to diet, but I'll think of joining you in the celebration and be good!!

Maybe we should have a vote on what to call it! All of those are great names, but we need just one like the Onederlands have. Someone do a vote thread or I'll do it when I get back from Athens...

HornDame, I have a kitty that looks remarkably like yours. Her name is Chryseis (Greek for Golden Girl) and pronounced Cry-sea. She is such a sweet little love but has had Felv and FIV (cat aids) since she was a baby--she's almost three and a miracle kitty. She's a happy kitty and always has that little butt "sash shaying" through the house like she's on an important mission. She's Little Miss Sunshine.

My avatar is Merlyn, another of my cats who thinks he's a comedian. lol

Cyn, that's my sister's name!!

Anyway, boy did I blow it this weekend....I ended up not going to my nephew's graduation because one of my cats went missing--Miss Chryseis, the one I told you all about. I think she was at a neighbor's, because after I put up the flyers on Friday afternoon, explaining that she was severely ill and needed meds, she showed up on Saturday afternoon (she'd been gone almost three days!), and she had a ring on her neck that looked like someone had put a collar on her AND it later broke out and she's allergy to flea collars, so I think they probably had put a flea collar on her. She's skinny because she has cat AIDS (FIV) and they probably thought that she was a stray and needed food. (She eats like a little piggy lol) Then when they saw the flyer, probably realized that she wasn't a stray, but sick, and just let her out of their house.

Anyway, after 24 hours, I was beside myself, depressed, sad, worried and had an ache inside that wouldn't stop....I also live alone and had no comfort--and yes, I "self medicated" with food. I had 4 pieces of Hunt Brother's pizza on Friday, and 4 on Saturday. Then my oldest son cooked dinner for me Sunday (T-bone Steak, garlic bread, baked potatoes, and spring salad) and I ate that, too... Anyway, I actually only "over ate" calorie wise on Sunday, Friday and Saturday were about the calories I need to maintain and not lose...so I didn't do a LOT of damage, but it did help me through the anxiety without freaking out.

But, she's back now, I'm happy and I'm back on track (went back on low carb SBD Phase 1 this morning--I'll switch up to low fat/cal counting on Wedn. or Thurs.). According to the scale, I'm teetering right at 300 pounds, so I hope to get in the two hundreds sometime this week.

Julia, did you make it? I hope so, and I'm so sorry I'm not there with you, but this is, after all a learning experience--and I've learned that it's okay sometimes to comfort myself in a really bad situation as long as it's a short-term comfort and that I can get right back on track instead of totally derailing. I've read through a lot of the successful dieter's posts--those who have already reached their goals and everyone of them fell off the wagon at some time or another--but the difference is, they got right back up and kept going. I'm going to do that, too.

Okay, I'm going to start a new thread so that we can vote on what we want to call the "two's".
