Default Skeptic.... but I'm willing to try

Hi everyone, I am a sophmore in college who has basically been exercising and playing sports her entire life... but is still having weight issues.

I stumbled upon this site because I was researching "Slim in 6" and the forum posts on here actually helped me decide to try it. I still feel rather silly for it, but I'm the kind of person that believes if she cant do it herself, she isn't doing it correctly and needs to push herself harder. (That hasn't been working, by the way. I'm just ending up hurting myself without knowing it.)

It has only been just recently that I have decided to put my faith into a work out dvd and I'm hoping it's going to work or at least give me a bit more faith in exercise. (and hopefully help me get ready for my session of Muay Thai this summer.)

Do you have a diet plan ? Diet with your exercise will be more effective in losing weight.

I do try to eat well, but being in college is making it really hard to consistently eat well without not eating enough. I also have to keep an eye on my blood sugar because I have gotten migraines more than often for not eating at the correct times, not eating the right foods, or just not paying attention.

At the moment, I make sandwiches daily for lunch and eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and every once in a while i have ... well I cant remember the last time i had a burger. So I think that's a good thing ^^;; But I do have something unhealthy every once in a while, but i try to stay away from them.

Welcome. I'm sorta doing the diet plan you are right now. Just making healthier food choices and filling up on fruits/veggies. I don't have time to count anything, which I'm sure you probably don't being a student.

I really dont, and it's so frustrating. I want to lose weight and i'm regularly exercising and trying to eat healthy but it just isn't working. I know i just dont have the right combination of weight training, cardio, stretching, and healthy foods. Chances are, at college, they put in what is the cheapest... and most of the time that's not the healthiest in the world.
