Default One way ticket

Hello everyone!

I'm new here and I thought it was polite to come here and introduce myself.
I'm a girl, I'm 20 years old and i've been overweighted since my 8 or 9 years old... Did a lot of dieting, a lot of yo-yo, Bla bla, it doesn't matter the past right now! Now I bought an one way ticket to slim-land and this time I don't think I'm going back... This past year I've been loosing 4 pounds and gaining the same 4 pounds... But now I've actually lost 6 pounds, so I've made my way out of that stupid situation.

I'm really motivated and I've made a real commitment with myself. It's all about keeping a good attitude about it and don't going back... If we fall it doesnt mean we must go back, it just means we have to stand up again.

Right now I'm 163.2 pounds and 5'5''
My ultimate goal is: 127 pounds
My ideal weight is about 138.6 pounds

This forum seems like it is a lot of fun, I hope I make some friends here.

Thank you!

Hi there, Chickie, and . . . glad to have you joining us . . . there is a whole forum for 20-somethings that you might like to have a look at; but I'm sure you'll receive a great big welcome wherever you post.

Just a little curious about the stats you listed. If your "ideal" weight is 138.6 why is your "goal" 127.

BTW, big on the pounds you've already dropped.

The ideal weight was calculated based on several ideal weight formulas... But it's just a number, the real ideal weight is the one you want it to be, is the one which makes you feel good, as long as it is a normal weight for your stature, age, etc... Besides... for what I see in general the ideal weight is often above the weight people actually have, at least at young ages.
I hope you understand now and thank you very much for wellcoming me!

Thanks for the clarification . . . guess I was sort of thinking about it as being the other way around; and so I wondered if you had listed them in reverse by accident. Either one sounds good for your height, anyway.
