Hello . . . - It has been a very long time since I have dieted. I kept my weight under control for some 40 years or so. But as I got older, I got tired of the whole regimen and abandoned it all. Now, however, I am plagued with skin problems, (probably) yeast problems, and other disorders that lead me to believe sugar, etc., may be the culprit. Weight loss is not my goal here, rather it is eliminating these problems by mastering a sugar-free diet. Learning how and exchanging support, I feel, would best be accomplished by joining this forum, where just about any "diet" problem heard of is discussed. Thank you for being here and I look forward to hearing from and reading about 3FC Forum members.

You don't mention your age, but the line about skin problems and yeast infections definitely caught my eye -- have you had your blood glucose levels checked recently? Don't want to scare you, but it might be worth having a full blood-workup done.
