Default Clothing at Sears on sale!

I've been watching for a coat for next winter. I figure if I get a large or XL that I will still be able to wear it next year because of my long ape-like arms and I'm big boned. They have LandsEnd down jackets originally 99.50 for 17.49; Lands End taylored shirts for 5.00; fleece jackets 45.00 for 6.99 and a 35.00 shawl for 6.99. I'll probably still be wearing fleece in 90 degree weather so still might get to wear some of it this season. The down jacket is a muddy brown, but I don't care.

It was in the 70's here yesterday and I'm still wearing undershirts and thermal sweat shirts. I can't drink anything cold because it just gives me bone-chilling cold. My fingers are dead and cold most of the time. But, I can drink hot tea and put hand warmers in my pockets to warm me up and I'm alive!

I'm hoping that I can do the 5 K tomorrow, but really will be according to the weather, I think. While we were at the mall, they had tornado sitings and it was really wicked weather for a while. Nothing like being in your "scivies" in a dressing room and have a tornado siren going off. I would have liked to shop longer, but with the weather and getting a late start and had poor DH along!!!!

You all have a nice weekend.

Wow honey, good savings just won't save you in bad weather!

I lived in CA for years and always thought of what I wore to bed or whatever, they might be pulling me from the rubble after an earthquake wearing my bra and panties...or nothing! TV crews love to show things like that over and over again! Never thought about being in a dressing room!!!!

I suppose I should focus on the good deals you got!

I'm doing the 5K at the Y tomorrow though the weather here has been ideal...maybe I will do it around the town! I will make up my fickle mind tomorrow!

You...and everyone reading this...have a great weekend too!

Think I am going to hit sears this weekend and see if we have sales on here too. Never thought of not being dressed in the dressing room and what could happen lol. Hey, I thought that is what husbands were for, to go with us and hold our purse. Hubby now just jokes and says " I don't want to hold your purse today, it doesn't go with my shoes or my belt." lol. " I just smile and say, " You hold my purse or this trip will cost you more." He laughs and holds my purse lol. Last may I found a great coat. I love it. I found it at good will. The thing looked brand new. I loved how it fit and it was nice and roomy for the big sweaters I wear in the winter time. May 9th I started to eat different. Last winter I could have put me and the cat and the dog in the coat. It is still hanging in my closet because I haven't found anyone big enough or small enough to wear the darn thing. I never got to wear my wonderful coat. GREAT ISN'T IT We also bought me an alpaca coat at the POW WOW. I always wanted one but would never spend the money. It was so big this winter not even a huge sweater could fill it up. It is kind of pink and has a beautiful wolf on it. Sure wish I knew someone who could wear it.

Default Wow

I have to make sure I get to Sears Tomorrow! I love Down.

For other reading this. We had 76 degrees here yesterday as a high and today its about 42. first time I have lived here all my life and never heard the Tornado Sirens go off.

Yes Nancy they had Tornado warnings out from 7:45 until 9:15. It took that long for all the different storms to go through!

I never did get to sears and I didn't get to the ZOO. I did get 4 miles in at the mall and was having so much fun yelling at the hubby to catch up I forgot all about sears lol.

Oh my gosh, I am so tired after I walk with him. How can anyone walk as slowly as he walks. I don't have to run faster than a bear. I can run faster than the hubby lol.

LOL! Shy Moment. My DH is a marathon walker. He has walked and delivered mail for over 35 years and I do have to run to keep up with him. When we go to a sporting event, he is already in the nose bleed section before I can even get into the stadium!!! GRRR! But I love the old guy!!
