Default Does car-dancing count as cardio? Because I rock at that....

Hello 3FC!

I am a 40 yr old mother of DD (almost 6, loves Hannah Montana, PINK, and the Power Rangers) and DS (2.5 and an 11 on the Richter scale - and yes, I totally had to look up how to spell that) and my dear, darling DH (loves me as I am, wants me to be happy and healthy and live forever).

I am soooooo ready to get out of this fat suit that I've been wearing for the past 20 years - sooooo ready to let go of my food crushes and crutches! I don't want to be achy and creaky....

On the other hand, I am incredibly lazy. Almost on a Olympic-level. And I wish I could say that I'm one of those who are always giving to others and not taking care of themselves, but that's just not me. I've made a lot of bad choices when it comes to food! I mean, a LOT.

I don't want to be a bad example to my wonderful children. I don't want to be unhealthy and feel unsexy. I want to be my own snarky, doofus, goofy self but about 125 lbs thinner. I want a place where other people understand how much you can want something and how hard it can be to get there. I want someone to kick me because they know, they've been there.

I am going to do Medifast and exercise.

Use food as fuel and not as entertainment - at least for a while anyway. And we have a treadmill plus a 24-hr gym opened up just five minutes away.

The universe is NOT whispering anymore - it's SHOUTING.

Love the title of your post . . . don't know if it would count as cardio, but in the overall scheme of "eat less; move more" . . . everything counts . . .
