I like using left over chicken in salads

My favorite, however is this:

Turkey
Laughing Cow Cheese (I like the garlic and herb)
Veggies
Low-carb whole wheat wrap

Wrap it all up and you are good to go!

For a quick snack try a handful of raw almonds!

Tuna on a whole wheat wrap is good too and organic peanut butter with sugar-free jam on the wrap

South beach also has pre-made meals you can buy at the store which are very yummy...

And don't forget the fun in salsa! You can add salsa to that turkey wrap for a bit more "zing" and it only has 10 calories for 1 tbsp and almost no sugar!

I know you are tired of wraps....but that is all I could think of!

My recent favorite thing to do to make average lunch less boring is to add half a fruit to salads (ie half an apple, half an orange). Makes me feel like I am eating something special.

I also started making my own granola, which does not do well with little carbs, but is delicious. Its really easy to make granola with "good grains" and you could maybe have just a little. I put it in yogurt for an afternoon snack.

Pork chops are higher in calories than chicken, but they are still pretty good for you so sometimes I use those in my salads, and definitely tuna (if you can afford ahi but even canned) is a nice alternative to chicken.

I don't know whether you consider beans as a carb (I know they don't on south beach) but I make a bean salad that's really easy to bring to an event which is: 1 can garbanzo beans, 1 avacado, 1 red bell pepper, 1/2 red onion (or less depending on how much you like it). Just chop up the last three ingredients, add a balsamic vinegar and plenty of fresh ground pepper. Its filling and looks very appetizing because of all the colors.

I hear you on getting tired of wraps and 1/2 sanwiches etc.!!! I was on a wrap kick for like a month, then they quit carrying my favorite low carb tortilla at my local store

Did you ever try Low Carb Tortilla Pizzas? I think they are delicious and only take 10 min to bake. If you're watching carbs get Low Carb Tortilla, spread about 2 T Spaghetti/Pizza Sauce, then about 1/4 cup cheese (more if you use light cheese). I normally top mine with fresh mushrooms and bake in the oven for 10 min at 350 degrees. Now this may sound weird but after I bake it I take it out of the oven, sprinkle some salad mix on top, and 1 T of light dressing. Cut into 4 slices and enjoy the whole thing!! To me it's like have pizza and salad all rolled into one, very yummy!!!! You could also add more fresh veges to the salad if you like just slice thin or in small pieces. Tortilla may seem a little soft when you first pull it out of the oven but quickly gets crispy.

I'm also really into Talipia fish too. It's very very mild and so yummy! I buy mine at Aldi's and it's only 3.99 for a huge bag. Bonus is the pieces are very thin and cook up in a snap. Lately I've been serving it with soul seasoning and light spray of cooking spray with "faux" rice (cauliflower that's been chopped up into rice sized pieces).

I got the idea for the rice from Linda's Low Carb Site. You could try some of her recipes too. Since her recipes are based on low carb you'd probably just want to watch the calorie count on certain dishes if you're trying to keep it at 1200.
