Default Binge Free Challenge ~ Mar 31 - Apr 6

Hi chickies!! Welcome to the binge free challenge!! You can come in here and post your weekly successes and struggles and keep track of your binge free days. You can also vent about anything and everything you feel like getting out. This is a positive thread, so I have to enforce the "be careful about being too negative" rule. We are here to share our feelings and to encourage and inspire each other. We are strong chicks and I KNOW we all can do this!! And we don't have to do it alone, we have each other to get us through the rough times.

ALL chicks are welcome -- no one is excluded! If you are trying to lose weight, not trying, maintaining, recovering from an eating disorder, in the midst of one, or have ANY kind of problem with food, we would love to have you join us!!

If anyone has any questions or concerns, or you just need to talk privately, don't hestitate to PM me.

Let's have an awesome week!!

Thank you, Harpochicogroucho!
Yay! The Binge Free Challenge thread is up... Horray.
OK. So for all my eagerness to actually get up and post in here, now I'm feeling some reluctance... but rather than letting that derail me, I'm going to try to do what I can.
I'm committing to the next 20 hours binge free. It's the end of the day that's the most difficult. Work gets out at 10:20 and that's when the cravings hit. 10:30pm-3am is my danger zone.
Awareness, first I suppose.

Goal: a binge free week. (But if i do slip and fall, to get right back up and keep on moving)

ja23--It is a weekly thread. It is a Monday to Sunday week. Many of us are on a continuous binge free challenge for example today is Day 7 for me.

Ax--Sounds like a great plan. Checking in here definitely helps also.

I didn't have lunch or dinner yesterday, and instead, ate a whole bag of (way overly salty!) nuts.

I'm going to get some exercise each day, and take one day at a time. Best wishes to everyone!

I'm in for a penny and hopefully a couple of pounds. I've managed to stay binge-free for a couple weeks now (a true miracle really), but some days are definitely harder than others.

Today's success: I ran errands at lunchtime that brought me close to several truly evil establishments such as Taco Bell, BK, McDs, etc. But I passed them all by and came home and ate a lovely lunch of roasted asparagus, sweet potato, and a portabella mushroom cap. Yay for veggies! And yay for no binging!

Today is day 1 for me, yet again I've been having a really hard time getting back to OP eating. Today is going good, but I don't feel the control I would like to feel. Anyway today is day 1 for me and I'm hoping to make it through the whole day and move onto day 2! Last month I went 26 days straight without a binge, so I know I can do it Here's to a great week ladies~

Tyler- Congrats on resisting the fast food joints

Shay- You got back on track...I need to follow in your footsteps girl Remember how good we felt a few weeks back when we were doing so well, that is what I want to feel again. We can do this

Ax- That is the key to slipping, getting back up! I need to learn how to get up quicker thoughLOL!

Have a great evening ladies~

Tina30 - 26 binge-free days, what an accomplishment, I know you can do it again.

Hang on as Day 1 is almost over and Day 2 will be easier with a successful day under your belt!

I need this motivation more than ever...so count me in! Mine will start tomorrow since I shot today pretty good! I was doing so good and down 18 pds then over two weeks ago I fell off the food wagon and got ran over by all 4 wheels! I've gained 5pds..yuck. But I am determined. This time I WILL GET BACK UP AND DUST MYSELF OFF because we Chicks are worth it!!! Good luck everyone!!

Yesterday started so well, then when I got home from work at 9pm, I had not only my dinner, but some cheese and biscuits, chocolate, pretzles and popcorn. I managed to control myself before I went too far, but not good.

Today is day 1 again.

Good luck everyone
