Default What to do in Champaign, IL?

We have to go to Champaign, IL in about a month because DH has a conference and we're wondering what there is to visit while there? Taking 2 boys, 11& 15 along, so they like boy things, you know! Would appreciate any suggestions.

Also, has anyone stayed at the Hawthorn Suites there? That's where the conference is, so hoping it's a nice, clean hotel.

We were there 2 weeks ago for state championship in IDTA at the U of I.

I didn't see much of the place. We went to the arena at the U of I . We stayed at Drury Inn.

There was a lot of restaurants to eat at. Usual shopping.

Sorry not much help.

Thanks for the link! That's a website I hadn't seen before. I had checked the AAA website, but it had only a couple attractions listed. Thanks, again, I appreciate it!

Don't expect too much. . . it's basically just a college town in the middle of corn fields.

LOL! Thanks! The only thing good about that is that at least it's not the same town in the middle of a corn field that I live in! The local Walmart might have a couple different items than ours does. Ha! I did see that there is an air museum at the AFB, so, of course, the boys are interested in that-anything with wings.....

Have a great day!
