I saw the KAM on the proform.com website while I was looking for the treadmill accessory kit so I can clean and oil up my 'new' used treadmill....and me and hubby checked out all the info on the site then clicked on their mykamunity website and it showed a little demo of the features and what not. it's on sale currently...also on norditrack's website for the same price (although amazon.com was more expensive). and once you get it, it'll track your activities for the day, show the past week and saves info for up to 40 days, then you can download that info each day into your pc using a usb cable...and when you pay the $6.99/month sub fee you can use it to pput ur stats into their kamunity and track your progress and talk to others that use it too and even lets you use your stats to join groups and compete in virtual games like tug of war...i guess the high you get you stats each day by working out and doing regular daily activities it makes your team strong so you get a better chance of winning the game...its really neat....
has anyone else tried this?? we are waiting on ours to ship from proform with my treadmill supplies...we ordered one for me and one for hubby...want to see how much activity he does each day with 2 PTs and work (he's army)...ought to be interesting...will make me wanna do more to try to compete with him, which could help get me more motivated and moving more each day instead of always on my pc.....and help lose the weight faster.
plus will help me keep up with my two kids (5 and 2) during playtime
