Hello ladies!

Hope everyone had a good Easter weekend and that you guys aren't feeling too guilty about having a few chocolate bunnies! Easter comes but once a year. Just try to avoid the mini eggs on sale now!

I haven't been paying much attention to dieting for the last week and a half, just maintaining. I'm pretty happy with my weight right now anyways, so I might just try for another week and see where I end up. I'm just tired of focusing on food all the time and feeling guilty about everything. Next Monday I'm going to Las Vegas where I think I'll be okay in a bikini so I'm excited about that

As for the wedding, I booked my venue (July 18 2009!), got a photographer and am looking at dresses tomorrow. I'm so happy that I don't have to worry about losing weight for the wedding!

Anyone else convinced that it's spring? I keep going outside with a light jacket and no gloves and regretting it, as it looks nice outside but it's still between -5 and 0. Can't wait for it to be a bit warmer as then the biking and running outside can start! Yay for non torturous cardio!

Good morning everybody! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I wish it was spring... I'm from Chicago so it doesn't even look like it's spring outside, in fact there's supposed to be another snow storm on Friday ugh!

G'day, everyone! My weekend was ok.....just that I think my grandmother unintentionally stabotaged me. At least I didn't gain any weight!

If I do move in with my mom and grandmother, I'm going to have to put my foot down and tell her that I don't want to eat the kind of food that she makes all the time (greasy, high in fat, ya know, the traditional food stuff) because that would be preventing me from losing as effectively as possible. Sooo not looking forward to it. She keeps telling me I can treat myself once in awhile. In my mind, I was going "Yes, but treating yourself EVERY week is NOT once in awhile!"

Argh....And I'm sick today. My stomach has been hurting REALLY bad...I've tried to eat, and I almost threw up what I had for breakfast an hour later. Ugh...

Happy Monday everyone! Well after my break down last week I didn’t plan over the weekend but I ate sensible. Otherwise not much is going on yet, I have some case work to get done at my internship before I meet with my advising attorney and then a quiz tomorrow in evidence (my least favorite class).

Megan – Sounds like you are doing good now. Have fun in Vegas, I went in October and it was a blast. Good luck with the wedding stuff I’m sure you will have fun looking at dresses. I wish it was spring, I keep saying how much I hate Michigan because of the snow around.

Jill – Good job on staying on track while in Tampa (I fell off the wagon).

Sorrow - Oh that is hard with you mom/grandma, I have that problem when I go see my mom and grandma but I put my foot down and they have been really good about respecting it and accomidating me, like when they make everyone else fried chicken, I get a piece of grilled. Good luck!

Not weight-related at all, but I'm so happy b/c I just bought a new digital camera!! I bought it realllllllllllllllly discounted...it's originally like...$250 and I got it for $80 from an AWESOME discount electronics site. They put up one item every day for a crazy cheap price and shipping is always $5. I have been waiting for a good camera to be up and this one was! I can't wait til I get it!!!

I also did really well at work this weekend, made almost $500, so not only can I buy the camera, but I can put more money away for my class in June

Ok just wanted to check back, just finished my dinner of leftovers. I forget how much I love ham (I really have to pratice portion control with it and not naw on it all day while it's in the fridge bad habit). One of those foods that I'll eat all week but still enjoy. Alright well I should start studying just wanted to check in.

Arts - Wow that is a great deal on the camera. I just spent like $300 on one (but I will only buy things with accidental damage warranties because I am um clumbsy.)

Hi all,

I've totally fallen off the wagon eating wise. My weekend food choices were awful, and I just finished eating some chips. I feel totally fat and gross. It doesn't help that his weekend was a friens bday and I had way to much to drink. I saw some of the pictures of me and I hated them all. I still feel that I looked chubby and bloated. I hate it! I used to be such a camera Wh0re, I loved having my picture taken, now I absolutely hate it. Despite feeling like I looked like crap several of the guys at the party were hitting on me like crazy. It was fun, but at the same time kinda over the top. One of the guys just found me on facebook and told me that I had the most beautiful eyes and he loved my dimples. He also said that he'd like to get to know me better. I was up front and told all the guys that I had a bf, but I don't think these guys get it. They'd never try anything, but at times all the attention just gets awkward and I get uncomfortable. I guess I should just stop complaining, (I'm being hit on too much - woe is me

Anyways, I think I'm going to try to get back to my twice a day workouts. I really need something to kick me in the butt and get the weightloss jumped started again. I also eat better when I really pushing myself in the gym. Hopefully, I can get out of this junk food rut and back on plan....

I'm exhusted and heading to bed, I'll be back to write some personals tomorrow.

Sorry for the disappearing act! Things got stressful around here, so I've been hiding at my brother's house. The job interview went really well..they are just waiting on the criminal background check to be finished, which could take a while as I lived abroad for a bit. But, hopefully I'll be working soon. And, my fiancee will finally have internet at his place this week, so no more ridiculously expensive long distance calls to Scotland ^^

Hope everyone is having a great tuesday!

Yesitsme – I hear you on the tired of dieting thing. I’m even getting a little tired of posting…but I do have some more pounds to lose and I need the help here. Congrats on all the good work you’ve been doing!
Slimming – good to see you! I’m glad you’ve been able to get to the gym. Sounds like things are going well!
Cookie – ugh I cannot tell you how sick of winter I am.
Stars – ugh sick? I’m sorry to hear that…is it a flu?
Remember – looks like everyone is getting tired of planning, and then working to stay OP.
Arts – ooh new gadgets are so fun. You’re making me think I should go back to serving…
Shan – another girl off the wagon! Must be easter. Sorry to hear about being uncomfortable at the party…here's to get you to the gym
Arian – good luck with the job!

As for me, I, too am off the wagon a bit...my brother just got an adopted child (my first niece!) and we celebrated last night, for some reason I hit the pizza like I'd never see it again. And a little cake. I'm doing WW, and I definitely have the points for it, but it just felt horrible eating till my stomach hurt. I think I'm feeling stressed about a reunion I have this weekend...reunion! yikes!
I have a paper to do, and I have GOT to get to the gym today. I'm having such a hard time getting off my butt...ooh i think the coffee's kicking in...good

hey everyone! i had a rough weekend foodwise but somehow i lost weight-- i think maybe i wasn't eating enoguh again, and the extra calories boosted my metabolism or something. that seems to happen whenever i go visit my parents; i overeat, feel guilty, get home and find out i've lost weight. i can't tell if it's the metabolism thing or just the past few weeks of being good and healthy catching up to me. I got into a car accident at 3:30 am yesterday. It was TOTALLY my fault too. I was leaving my parents house in NY to come back to philly for work (slept till 3am to avoid traffic) and didn't let my car defrost, couldn't see out my back window and the people who live across the street parked right across from our driveway, so i backed into a parked car. I felt like SUCH an idiot. and i have a $500 deductible to get my car fixed, but i don't have $500 becuase rent is due this week, so there is a wonderful new source of stress. But, i'm very proud of myself, when i got back to philly at 6:30am, i went to the gym to work some of the stress out, instead of eating it. Had a good healthy day yesterday, ate 1300 calories, swam laps for 40 minutes, and walked back and forth to work and therapy for a total of 6 miles of walking.
Also, like i said i overindulged all weekend, i drank. I drank friday AND saturday night, and saturday night i drank heavily. I did have one of the most fun nights i've had this year, if not the most fun, and i didn't gain, so i'm going to vote that it was worth it, even if i feel guilty now. Glad to hear everyone else has had some nsvs this week and enjoyed the holiday.

Remember Yeah....I just don't know what I'm going to do. It might be best if I don't move in, BUT at the same time....might be better to save money in the long run. After all, I'm planning on moving out of state anyways.

Arian That's great!!! Good luck on the job, and I'm glad you and your fiancee can stay in touch better now!

Shrinking Nah....it seems to have been a 24 hour bug that was made worse by stress. I had a really, really, really, REALLY sucky day yesterday, so that probably didn't help my stomach any. Today's much better, though.

NutritionThat sucks about your car!!! At least you had a lot of fun despite some problems, right? =)

Nutrition- Stupid frosted car windows! I have underground parking here & at work but I park outside at my bf's and I have almost hit cars coming out of his driveway because I'm too lazy/not used to scraping anymore! Cars need automatic scrapers or something.

This is going to be a long week, I can tell already. I am exhausted and have to get lots of homework done. Plus it’s biggest loser night so I’m going to be hooked to that. Good news, I’ve stuck with my eating plan thus far and I think I did well on my quiz. I only got 2 wrong on the multiple choice and then I have the essay which I think I did ok on. The multiple is over half the points so I’m sitting pretty good (there were 10 questions and I’ve been hearing 3-5 wrong from everyone else).

Shantroy – everyone falls off the wagon once in awhile. Keep up the exercise and get back on the wagon. Sometimes if I’m having trouble starting up again I either throw out any junk for I’ve accumulated or when I go in the kitchen I set the rule that if I want to eat something junky I need to eat something healthy first then if I still want the junky thing I can have it. So for example if I want chips I’ll have carrots or celery first, I get the same crunch, then wait a half an hour and if I still want chips I’ll measure out one portion. Also try and increase your water to eliminate some of the bloat. That is kindof creepy about the guy from the party. I know what you are talking about though, I never use to get hit on and now it seems like everytime I go to the bar someone is hitting on me and normally they are creepy.

Arian – Good job on the successful interview.

Lizzy – its funny you see how everyone is on board for awhile then it fades away, it happens a lot. And isn’t it funny how the food you use to love no longer loves you?

Nutrition junkie – Sorry about the accident. It happens. Good luck finding the money.

Bad news guys, my wisdom teeth are impacted and I have to get them removed I was always told growing up that I could keep them, but now I'm in a lot of pain so I went into the dentist this morning and he said they had to go... ahhh!!!!

I think I'm going to have them removed on Friday, wanna hear the funny thing though. First thing that went through my mind was ugh I finally am losing weight and now I won't be able to work out and eat healthy. Kind of pitiful actually...
