I'm a huge fan of wrap dresses. They can be casual, but dressed up a bit with some nice jewlery. Or a nice sun dress, again something that can be dressed up a bit with some jewlery. It looks like Banana republic has some cute ones available right now.

I don't know what your price range or size is or what your skin-showing tolerance is, but I was coveting this 98 dollar party dress just the other day from urban outfitters that might work: I hope that photo link thing worked, if not I'll try to edit and fix it...I think they have some cute clothes there. Windsor has some nice dresses if you have that store in your area, some are more formal but they also usually have some more casual stuff too...www.newport-news.com usually has some decently priced dresses if you're wanting something more conservative...I can't think of anywhere else to look, I never get to dress up for anything! Anyway, good luck!

You didnt say what size you are currently wearing, but Old Navy online has great deals on dresses. There are lots of different styles and they are draped so they can hide your least favorite parts. Also try Lane Bryant.
Go to the old navy website and choose womens plus and then dresses. I am such a newbie I can't even post links yet!
Good Luck

oops, I just looked at your avatar, you look great. Old Navy has great things for regular sizes too. Go buy yourself a fantastic dress and some great shoes and knock them dead at the wedding!!

I have to say that sometimes strapless or halter is a GREAT look for us bigger chested girls! Of course, strapless may be better in a more formal dress with a corset bra under...I just wanted to mention that because when I was looking for a dress last the lady at the shop was trying to get me to go strapless and I was totally against it...when I finally did try one, it looked better than everything else I had tried on! You just need a good bra and a good fitting dress

I was also going to suggest a wrap dress. Flattering on EVERY figure, very forgiving, very comfy, and can actually be taken in VERY VERY easily as you continue to lose weight!

I don't know if they have this store in Miami, but I was in filene's basement yesterday and they had diane von furstenberg wrap dresses which are usually ridiculously expensive and are super flattering.
