Default hoodia pills

hey guys. its me again lol. um so weight loss hasn't been going as well as I planned and I am still pretty much the same weight.

so I am going on 3 slim fasts a day with a Hoodia pill.

I already know this is unhealthy but thats not what I am asking. I was wondering if anyone had any experience taking hoodia and how well it controls your appetite because I would really like to take a good pill to keep me full.

and I am under 18 so I hope the side effects aren't too bad.

Thanks!

There have been many many posts about hoodia. Hoodia actually isn't for sale yet but a lot of pills say they are hoodia. It is really just a fiber pill. You can get the same effect by taking cheaper fiber pills or other fiber supplements.

Why would you do something you know is unhealthy? Low calories like that aren't safe and should be monitored by a doctor if you are on an extremely low calorie diet. Trust me, you can screw up your metabolism and then when you stop your 'diet', you can gain what you lost back plus more.

Listen sweetlovin YOu are not going to lose anything with any of those pills get yourself to weight watchers and you will do much better you will learn the lifestyle change at a young age and it will stay with you FOREVER! ww is really the way to go they are with you EVERY step of the way! I started ww the first time while taking trim spa then I became pregnant with my 2nd child so I had to stop both, but when I returned the 2nd time I actually lost the more weight just doing the ww alone without the expensive pill! You just have to keep yourself eating all day to keep your metabolism going and ofcourse excersize helps too! So get off those pills and those slim fast drinks/bars, etc.. and get yourself to your local ww center. I believe this will be the best thing you ever did!

I bought a 30 dollar pack of hoodia pills once - being very careful to read the labeling and make sure it was "south-african" hoodia with some sort of certification. It had all of that and I can tell you from experiance ... it did nothing. Not a thing. I believed in it and I don't even remember a placebo effect heh. It was like accidentily swallowing a raisen.

And I think you know better than trying a 3 slim fast a day diet =) I've spent a long time looking for a trick to being thin and there just isn't one. There is a better way to eat, and the benefits of exercise go so far beyond being thin.

Actually, there is no hoodia pill out there yet with the 'true' hoodia. Last I read, manufacturers are having issues with harnessing the appetite suppresant abilities of the hoodia plant. When it does hit the market, I am sure we will know about although I've also heard it is unlikely to be in pill form.

Oh I wasn't disputing your earlier post ... I should have phrased that differently. I just meant that it said on the box "certified south african hoodia" and even had a little "certificate" folded up inside it. I guess the supplement people really can claim whatever they want ....
Maybe there was some part of the hoodia plant in there but probably not. Whatever they were selling definately didn't work and I wish I had read your post before spending the 30 bucks =)

Oh ok, I get you now. I thought you were trying to say you made sure it was 'real hoodia' although you did what you could to try to get it.

I don't know anything about the pills but I have been taking the Cortisol Hoodia Weighloss for some time now ...probably on my 6th or 7th (large) bottle. It is a liquid and I buy it at Costco for $19. It DOES help me control my appetite and it is suppose to keep your blood sugar level. I'm not sure about that but it does help my appetite and my bs is never too low...because I am diabetic I check it daily and it hasn't changed since I started taking this product. I can still eat..I don't feel stuffed but it just helps me to resist eating too much. Sometimes I forget but when I remember I take 2 tablespoons a day. It tastes good..it's got blueberry in it.
