Default Aw, nuts!!

Wow, the nut thing actually works! I've always heard that eating a handful of nuts when you feel hunger is really satisfying but I didn't believe it. But I tried it out and it really does help to quiet my appetite! I'm so excited, because most of those little 100 calorie snack packs and things just don't do much for my appetite. I didn't know what kind to get, or if it made a difference. I knew though, that if I got my favorite nut (cashews), I'd eat a lot more than I should. So I opted for a can of unsalted mixed nuts. So they're enjoyable, but I'm not tempted to eat more than a few. I've also recently tried the special k protein water, and I have to say it didn't do much for me. My cousin loves it, so I know it works for some.
So any of you that may be skeptical about this tip as I was, it really does work - you should try it! What other low-cal snacks do you guys find really fulfilling? Another of my favorite snacks is grapes. You can have a lot of grapes for 1-2 points.
Little side note - my first 10 lbs is gone!! Yea!!

Congrats on -10lbs gone forever!

I will eat an apple w/1 serving of lowfat peanut butter. or another piece of fruit like oranges or apples.

sunflower seeds help to cuz you can snack on quite a few so it makes you think your eating alot....maybe its just me....I buy the unsalted shelled kind at the healthfood store along with pumpkin seeds too!

Congrats on those 10 lbs Gone forever! Yay!!!!

I second the grapes. Tasty (especially frozen).

I usually like a good piece of fruit like an apple or pear and then a cheese stick.

First, congrats on the first 10 pounds!

I've been adding nuts (almonds and soy nuts) the last week or so. Soy nuts especially used to be a food I could eat the whole bag of if I wanted to. What I do is take whatever I've decided is a serving (an ounce for me) and put one serving of each into a small plastic container. I'll grab one or the other during the day and that's all I eat. I refill them (if I've used) after dinner, when I'm less likely to eat some while refilling.

Congrats on the 10 lbs gone!!!

I picked up the protein water powder pkgs (Kelloggs and south beach) as well, they taste good BUT don't do anything for my hunger. My friend gave a 100 cal pack of unsalted almonds. They were the perfect serving size also. I found the price was little bit steep but for the convience of it being pre-portioned I thought it was wonderful!
