Question Exercise and the Flu

I was just wondering if anyone thought it was a good idea to continue with a usual rutine and push yourself while getting over the flu. I came down with it on thursday, did light exersice for about 40 minutes (I usualy do about 1hr and 50min) and didn't do anything fri. I fell better today (saturday) and did 40 minutes of light exercise but now I just feel run down. Should I push myself to do a normal workout today? I don't want to lose all the progress I've made but I dont want to make myself sicker... just curious to see what yall thought.

Depends on how you feel. I always try to use the above/below the neck rule. If your symptoms are from the neck up, you are fine to exercise. If your symptoms are below the neck, take the day off. If you do decide to work out just do some easy cardio, no need to push it.

Take care of yourself and your flu, rest and drink plenty of liquids... Two or three or even 4 days of bed rest will NOT undo your progress at all ... Listen to your body...
