Default Cellulite - did it go away?

Hi, I really don't know where to put this question, but I figured since all of you guys have lost weight, then maybe you'd have something to contribute.
I'm about 45pounds overweight, and I have cellulite on my legs. Like, large dimples. It all seems to be on my legs where there's a lot of fat, and I'd really like it to disappear when I lose weight.
So my question to you guys is - did it disappear? Did it get better? Stay the same? (Heaven forbid) Get worse?

Mods, if this isn't the right place for it, please move it. Sorry

A lot of it went away, but I still have a dimply butt and cellulite on my thighs (particularly my left outer thigh, which has a icky saddlebag/fat pocket and is cellulite city).

Overall, I am ecstatic over my new body - a tiny bit of cellulite isn't that bad. Most women have a little - we're just used to seeing glossy air-brushed magazine ads of too-perfect women. Spend a day in a water park to see some reality!

As I have been losing this excess weight and toning most of mine is gone. Probably 80% of it. I am sure hoping the rest of it goes as I get closer to my goal weight and keep toning right along with the weight loss.

Am I the ONLY one who noticed it MORE?

Since my skin isn't as taut as before I lost, I think the issue is just exacerbated. I think I'm also more aware of stuff like that now that I'm less aware of being overweight.

I've actually never had a ton of cellulite though at my HW I did have some on my butt and thighs. I would say it's 90% gone now, as that part of my body is very toned now - If i flex my muscles in my butt I can see some dimples from the little bit of fat that is still there, but it's really not much.

Junebug -

I'm with you, I notice it a lot more now. Having the extra padding in the back of my legs used to fill it all out a bit for a smoother look. If I had the cash, I'd be getting lipo back there.

Junebug and LeighHop, I third that! I don't even remember having cellulite before I lost weight. In fact, I recall liking how smooth my skin was, and thinking that it made my body look okay despite being obese.

Now? I've got stretch marks and cellulite galore! But overall I'd say it's worth it...

Exactly!

There must be a disclaimer though: I am not a mass of cellulite and stretch marks (even though I got 'em!) and will take them gladly in exchange for dropping the weight.

I have been using the Jergen's self tanning lotion and it makes the cellulite a lot less noticeable. Just a thought.
