It’s been a crazy weekend of up and downs for me. I went shopping on Friday and bought size 4s (I don’t think I want to be a size 2 so I must be getting close to my goal weight), when I started in January I was a size 10. At my Saturday weigh in I was down another 2 pounds putting me within 10 pounds of my goal weight.
But Saturday night I learned that my grandfather passed away. He has been sick for years and had Alzheimer’s and dementia. So it was time and we knew it was coming. Also I came down with something this weekend and haven’t been able to workout since Thursday.
In the past I would have let hurdles like these derail my weight loss efforts, but I still want to celebrate my achievements and focus on my goals.
