Default Hey everyone

So I've been lurking around here for a while and I figured it was finally time to register and start posting.

So I am 23 years old. I currently reside in Oregon but am planning on moving back to San Diego in the beginning of July. Which is part of the reason I am really going to be losing the weight. I am about 300 at the moment and hope to be around 250 by the time I get back home. Ultimate goal being 180-ish in December. Just in time for snowboard season. (Thats my reward to myself. Already saving )

I am starting my program tomorrow. (Still need to go grocery shopping) My plan is basically: 6 days of cardio (Mon-Sat), 3 days of weight training (M, W, F) and an hour of yoga on Sundays. I've already figured out my meal plan, which most would say is pretty boring (Its the same stuff almost everyday) but I know that if I have too much variety, bad things start to happen. I figure if I can get myself into the habit of eating all healthy foods, then I won't want to eat junk food anymore. I've already cut out soda which ended up being a lot easier than I thought. (Water is so good)

I used to not have many issues with my weight. I thought I was fat when I was younger. But looking back at pictures from then, it was pretty obvious that I wasn't. After I moved to Oregon in 2005, I got really depressed and started loading on the weight. I somehow gained 80 pounds very steadily over the last 3 years. So slowly that I didnt even realize what happened until it was too late. I guess thats what happens when you stop working out and start eating crap.

So now I'm determined to change it. I'm done being fat. And I'm finally, truly going to do something about it.

There's definitely plenty of support here. The "20-Somethings" forum might be of interest to you as well. Good luck!!

Oh, that is so good. Simple and sweet.
