Hi all! This is a totally selfish, silly post but if you wouldn't mind can you humor me and venture a guess as to what my "real name" is ? I've always hated my name and on more than a few occasions throughout my life I've had people crinkle their nose and tell me it doesn't suit me (thanks Mom & Dad!) I'd love to know what name you think would suit me

Maybe to put it in perspective -- my grandmother was Irene Gertrude, I have an aunt -- Hortense Helena -- if your name is one of these, I truly do feel bad for you

To me you look like an Amanda or a Laura. This is mostly because all the Amandas and Lauras that I have known have had great hair. From your avatar you look like you have great hair.

You remind me of my friend Joy, in fact I had to really look close at your avatar to decide it wasn't her.

Is your name something that has a masculine nickname? You look like your more girl then tom boy, so if your name was Josephine (Jo) or Christine (Chris) I would say that wouldn't suit you.

You could change your name if you really wanted. Or go by your middle name if it's better. I have a friend whose name was Jennifer and she was frustrated because there were so many Jennifers in her field, so she changed her name to Jasmine. It does suit her better too.
