Default I'm a newbie looking for support:)

Hi Everyone! I have been trying to lose weight. I started using my treadmill regularly Nov. 26th. I have since lost weight. I started at 224 lbs, and I was at 199 yesterday morning. I was soooooo happy, until this morning, I weighed 202 again. Soooo depressing. I went out to eat with the family last night and I didn't do so good on the temptation thing. Grrrr. So, I got on the treadmill right away this morning, and now I am in a horrible mood because of those 3 pounds. I think it's mostly cuz I was under 200, and now I'm not---again Anyway, sorry to ramble--I look forward to learning lots from you wonderful ladies

Welcome to the forum!
You're doing so well! Don't let those few pounds get you down. Although I understand completely ... I regained two a couple of days ago, but they're back off, and yours will be, too! You know how to do this... just stick with it.

Oh, that just made MY day! It's amazing how much a little encouragement will do for us.
I hope you'll post in a few different areas... some of us are all over the place in here. There's a great exercise forum and a ton of other areas of support.
The day is yours... use it to do good things for your body and mind.
And because I feel pretty good now, too, I will do the same.

Hang in there!!

Too bad you have no weight to lose, eh, Susan? We could really motivate you!

Must go and do something physical...

Dont let it get you down, I know how you feel. I have been dieting since after the first of the year and have been working out reguraly for about a month now. I did 15 minute work out for the first week increased it to 30 minutes the next week, added yoga and meditation in the following week and now I do strength training in between. I was hoping to see some dramatic weight loss and much to my dismay it was not coming off. However, I was noticing a change in my clothing and my face. I went to work on a monday (my weight in day) and was very very bummed and moody all day. A friend sent me an article she found on her ww web site and it stated that you when dieting and working out you should not focus on the lbs but your measurments. I started focusing on my fat % which started out t 46% and now I am at 40%. Dont let the scale
discourage you, you are doing a great job!

COngrats on the weight you have lost. Dont let the little gain get you down. If you drank more than usual it might just be that your body hasnt got rid of it yet. Keep doing what you are doing ........its working!!!!!!
