Your "lousy" went down, you "healthy" is still above 40 and your overall total number went down. Yes, your numbers are better. Now, I'd concentrate on keeping that HDL above 40 and lowering that overall number.....are you eating lots of healthy fats?...olive oil, nuts, salmon, avocados? Are you cutting out fried foods and sugar? Are you eating lots of whole grains....like steel cut oatmeal, whole wheat bread and pasta? You don't smoke, right? And, if you like red wine.....enjoy a nice 5 oz glass 2 or 3 times a week.

Your numbers will probably be even better on your next visit. But, for now....great job!
