I'm Home! and though it's not Bag End, I am glad to be home none the less. Giving away my age and Geekish history with all these Hobbit references!
Strange to be able to say I am a post-op patient now! I'm a little weak and sore in spots but I feel surpising good. The water issue isn't as much of an issue as I thought it would be, but the meds thing is a pain and will remain one until I can swallow pills straight...that won't be soon enough for me!
Lungs are a big thing, I am struggling to keep them clear, the breathing machine thing they gave me has be good for that.
I weighed myself on my home scale and though I was a bit skeptical because the danged thing kept saying the same danged number for the last few months, I was pleasently surpised to see I have lost 11 lbs! Not official but encouraging.
Thanks for all of your good wishs and encouragment everyone! Now the real journey begins! The journey to become Lord of the Scale!

(must have been all those Morphine-garitas I had, makin' me silly....ya, that's it!)
