Default I'm back...

Some of you may remember me from when I was here this summer. I stopped coming around sometime in October. I lost my motivation. But I've somehow regained it right now, and I'm back. I know this isn't going to be easy, and I'm going to be tempted to quit again. But I also know that the longest I've ever stuck with this is the last time I was here. Hopefully this time it's for real.

I've joined weight watchers. My tax refund is coming soon, so I can go grocery shopping and fill my kitchen back up with healthy options instead of looking in the fridge and saying "There's nothing here" and ordering out or running up to McDonalds. I have my own apartment now, so hopefully I'll be able to work out now without feeling ridiculous in front of a roommate.

This time, I'm going to do this!

Thanks famo, you're right. It doesn't matter that I didn't make it last time, it matters that I didn't give up completely - that I'm here trying it again!

But, yes - it IS only the final time that counts and there's no reason on earth why this can't be THEE time.

Don't forget to make a plan. Eating healthy does not happen by chance and should be thoroughly thought through and planned in advance. This way there's no need to run to McD's or anywhere else. Keep that fridge/pantry well stocked with lots of yummy, low cal choices. Check out the grocery stores for all the latest sales. There's always lots of produce on sale, always some brand of yogurt and cottage cheese on sale too.

You sound really gung-ho and I'm really excited for you!!! Good luck.

Welcome back -- this is your time now! You will do this. I can tell because you haven't given up!! Robin is the queen of making a plan -- listen to her !! It obviously makes a big difference. I can't find a single person on 3FC who just winged it and made it work -- it would be nice, but I think it's all a matter of making sure all our bases are covered and our plans are in place. I find it most important to have a strategy for my weakest moments. Good luck and welcome back -- can't wait to see your "after pictures" added to the goals thread!!
