Ditto Mickey- I lost about 9-10 lbs this month and I feel great! I have very dry skin and have now developed excema. I just realized I havent had it much all month. And I do have more energy. DH and I enjoy trying new recipes and techniques. thanks for reminding me to not always rely on scale.

aw it's always nice to hear of non-scale related good news. the scale is only one part of the entire healthy lifestyle and i know that i for one always get hung up on it. sometimes to the point that it keeps me from being in a good mood or making smart decisions. thanks!

I have lost 10 pounds this month also, so I think that is a great "normal" result. It is a consisitent 2.5 pounds a week, which is great and just think, by summer, all those 10 pound months will add up to a great body!
I think the water does help! I have noticed the benefits as well. Way to go on your loss!

I hate using the scale as my tool to happiness. I also do some strength training so of course i am gaining muscle and loosing weight which will show no weight loss on the scale.

It's all about how you feel!
Congrats on your progress. Keep it up!

i've also noticed a difference with my skin, thanks to an increase in my water consumption. it's wonderful! 10 pounds in a month is great!
