Hi everyone,

I've been dieting since my early teens and now that I'm a mom of three I am ready for a lifestyle change that includes more exercising.

I am looking for support and help in reaching and maintaining my weight loss goal.

Right now I'm trying to find a lifestyle change that I can incorporate into my hectic life right now. I have a son with PDD (which is a form of Autism) and twin 22 month old daughters.

Depending on the day of the week me and my DH find ourselves making fast, unhealthy food choices due to traveling to various therapy and doctor appointments for our son.

What are some suggestions for eating healthy on the go. I would love to try one of the diet food delivery programs, however I have yet to find any that fit into our budget.

Here's to eating healthier

Welcome to the boards! If you want support, you have come to the right place!! I am on Weight Watchers. I have often thought about the food delivery programs, but was concerned about losing the weight and going back to regular food. I can't afford to eat that way forever.

As far as suggestions for on the go, if I know I have several places to go I always pack my bag with carrots, maybe a peanut butter sandwich, and a Fiber One bar.

Hope that helps!

I love the FiberOne bars!!

If you need to eat fast and healthy try a salad. You can buy the bags with already cut up lettuce and then just cut up some lowfat lunch meat and some lowfat shredded cheese and lowfat dressing. You can use tons of lettuce and it gets quite filling.
