Talking Newbie here...where to start?

Hi All!

As stated, I am a newbie to this forum--or any other support forum for that matter Anyhow, I decided my birthday(1/15) present to myself this year was to sign up for Weight Watchers at Work(1/16) and take back all the things I took for granted when I was a healthy weight...not feeling tired all the time is the first, and imho, most important thing.

The accountability will be a good motivating factor for me. I chose the Flex Plan, and with the exception of tracking everything (which will take some getting used to as I keep forgetting my tracker...LOL!) seemed to be the best fit for me. So here's to getting healthy--my doctor says 155lbs for me, and WW says 145 is my high end...personally, I'd love to see my adult life 'normal' of 135 again, although my DH says that was too skinny for me as I don't carry my weight in any one place, but rather its fairly evenly distributed. No one ever believes me when I tell them my weight...who cares though? Unhealthy is unhealthy!

I'm looking forward to meeting and encouraging new&old members and leaning on the 'old' when I feel like its impossible! LOL!

Thanks Michelle! My weight gain 'journey' also spanned 10 years...I plan on losing faster than I gained (imagine it taking 10 years--LOL! That'd really stink!) but I also know this is a lifetime change...

We'll take the journey together, since we're both looking at the same destination
