Not my first time trying to lose weight, but I have a better attitude this time
My name is Jen. I'm 23 and I am 143 pounds up to a size eight. Last February I was 125 pounds and could fit into a size 4. I gained approximately 18 pounds in 6 months.
The moment that made me realize that I needed to lose weight was when my boyfriend asked if I was pregnant, a couple of weeks ago. I'm not. I thought about why he would ask me that, and I came to the conclusion that it was because I've gained a significant amount of weight in a short period of time. My boyfriend is a very nice guy and I don't think he was being cruel by asking that question and I don't think that he thinks I'm fat. So I'm not losing the weight for him, I'm losing it for me.
Another reason I want to lose weight is that I've almost grown out of my pants, and don't want to increase a pants size and have to buy more clothes.
This time I'm very serious about losing the weight. I'm going to exercise 3 to 4 times a week, and restrict my eating 3 hours before my bedtime. I even made a personal contact with myself that I read everyday.
