Where does everyone keep there percentages of fat/carbs/protiens at? Is there supposed to be more fat than carbs? Or more protien than everything? Im really confused with this.
That depends what sort of plan you're following...there is no one "right" ratio that works for everyone. Some people (like me) only vaguely track, others (like those on The Zone or similar plans) track pretty carefully!
My percentages usually come out to 45% carb, 35% protein, 20% fat...but they vary considerably.
I try to get a fair amount of protein, but that's to help build muscle for weight training. If that's not something you're doing, you wouldn't need to worry about protein.
The usual recommendation for fat is to get somewhere from 15-20% of your calories from fat -- but keeping saturated fat to 10% of overall calories...
