Hi, I'm new here too. I'm just about the same as you. I'm at 215 and want to get down to 165 or more. I've just started today and pretty excited about it. I actually got up and walked today. I've got 4 kids and a wonderful husband. It's hard for me to get up and do stuff and I was on this website for half the day and got really motivated by reading everyones posts and just by looking around on the site. It's really inspirational. Good luck with your weight loss.

Hi! I'm brand new here too (this is my first day on the site). I agree, this site is hugely inspirational - I wish I had found it sooner. I wish you the very best of luck in your weight loss. Deciding to lose the weight is actually really exciting - you're finally taking control of your life; there's power in that and no one can take that power from you. Good luck!
Hi there, and yet another newbie guess it is that time of year, but I also have a similar amount to lose, currently @ 243lbs 5' 6" . With my 46th birthday yesterday (that looks so scary in print) I need to get down to the 150lbs of my younger days. I just want to feel good about myself again.
I am a Christian, live in New Zealand, but often travel to the USA so love to make new friends.
