The presents are all opened and all 3 boys are downstairs playing with them. I have my coffee, the mashies are made and the broccoli casserole is next. Around noon we pick up my MIL and head down to my aunt's house for the day. Probably won't be home until around 9:30-ish tonight!
I had to work yesterday til 6. Then I rushed home intime for Christmas Eve dinner (turkey with the trimmings), then off to candlelit service at church, and finally we opened presents.
I have Christmas with Mom's family today and Dad's family tomorrow. I also have to work at 5:45am - 2:30pm, tomorrow.
Lisa, my mom said to me on the phone earlier, "Do you have to work tomorrow?" Yeah. Thanks for the reminder. I totally forgot I wasn't off all week. But hardly anyone is gonna be there, so that's OK. I may even wear jeans.

We've all had lots of turkey and ham lately so MIL suggested Italian food. It actually sounds really good to me as I'm about turkyed out;-). Excellent xmas on this end. We're off to visit FIL tomorrow and won't be home until Friday evening. Hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas.
We have opened our presents and now DH is trying to build DS's toys. That is always the fun part.
We had a big dinner at my grandma's yesterday. It was nice seeing all of the family. We then slept at my parent's last night so everyone could wake up and open presents today. We were supposed to go to my aunt's today, but it is snowing.
My mom got a Wii for the family. My DS and brother were shocked and have been playing it. I tried a few games and I understand why people say it can be a workout.
Hope everyone is having a blessed holiday season. I have been away for a while, I hope to return to regular chat tomorrow. Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
wow lisa- 5.45 that sux. Hang in there. I had a great christmas dinner. Turkey turned out GREAT and ham was wonderufl. Lots of happy tummies. Now just chilling with the family...tryptophan has kicked in...we are all very lazy right now, just watching the tv and chilling.

Joan, I think by Christmas most are tired of the Turkey. I think my Mom was having Roast Beef. Have a safe trip!

Hanna, hope you had a nice time w/the inlaws. It's nice they decided to come. Yes, we did get the oven wired (its a double oven). We had a wonderful dinner, DH even helped cook.
I couldn't get out of bed this morn, I seriously think we could have stayed in bed ALL day. DD was so sweet, she got up, ate her breakfast, mossied around. She finally came in to my room at 10:30 and asked if we were gonna get up and if she could open her presents.
Oh and my puppies they were so cute. They both got these bones. Well they chewed all morn. Then when I took them out they both burried their bones. Then this evening they dug them back up and brought them in to finish.

I started the day around 9:30 am my neighbor came over for breakfast, we made blueberry pancakes, we got her the DVD "the plant earth" she was very surprised, I was afraid it was not the right thing to give her, but she loved it! she really wanted it.
Mom and dad got here a little earlier than I expected, I was still in sweatpants and had not shower, so I ran upstairs to get ready super fast, and went downstairs like in 10 minutes. We had a wonderful day, it was great. I am very happy they did get out of the house, mom did have a lot of pain in her legs, but she managed to stay here after dinner and play for a little while.
Sean got a ton of stuff, he was very happy. Mom and dad were very pleased w/their gifts too. We were all very happy!
