I have been chubby all my life. I love food! and tend to eat when i am board.
Late night snacks are my biggest weakness.

I'm so glad to have found this place, and hope to be helpful in any way i can.
I can't wait to meet everyone! and get to know all of you.
I like to cook, and always like to try a new recipes.

Hi Zazzy - said hi to you in the other thread, but I'll send you a big ol' in your own thread.

OK, so we know you like to have something to eat at night. Sounds a lot like me! My night is NOT complete until I have dessert...it's just how I am. So I made sure I PLANNED for that dessert. It fits in my day, and I don't have to be deprived.

You could make a big bowl of popcorn (air-popped or popped on the cheap in a brown paper bag), throw some salt on top, and snack away in front of the TV for just about 120 calories...a perfectly reasonable snack. And it's a whole grain!

Since you love to cook, maybe you start experimenting with low-cal dips. Make a big batch, keep it on hand, and when that latenight snack monster comes out, break out the veggies and dip. For me, it is all about choices - I can have a GIANT plate of veggies and dip, or a big bowl of popcorn, or 10 potato chips. I like eating too much to burn up my calories on something that'll be gone so quickly, so I go for the big volume.

Gosh, I'm chatty tonight! You'll find lots of new recipes to try here...you could visit the "100 lb Club" - there is a "stickied" thread called "101 plus things to do with chicken". Check it out!

Can't wait to see you and Glitter around soon!
