Angry Stretch marks from 2 pregnancies and obesity.

My stretch marks have been emphasized from both of my pregnancies. My stretch marks start from my pubic bone, and go straight up to my ribs. The largest are 1 inch wide, the smallest about 1/4 centimeter. There is not ONE place on my abdomen that is NOT covered in stretch marks. (I kid you not... my mother had a similar problem... but not as bad as mine).

I'm just worried what they will be like once I reach the 100 weight loss mark. Erm. Because the skin has been so stretched... I don't think mine will eventually shrink back with the rest of the skin on my body.

Has anyone had to deal with this situation? How did you deal with it?

I havenŽt had that problem yet, i do have little strech marks in my chest, but IŽve only lost 8 pds, when I reach the 55 I guess theyŽll be pretty big, IŽve heard that it works to use pre natal creams during the weight loss period and for strech marks you already have to use mederma. IŽve heard it does miracles. We donŽt have Mederma here in Chile but IŽll try to get something similar... if someone has used it can you tell us about ur experience???

Thanks for posting

I would put vitamin e oil (dr's orders) onto my abdomen religiously 3 times a day when I was pregnant. And it did nothing to stop the marks. I have very very very sensitive skin... lol

I will have to look the cream up and give it a try Thanks for the suggestion!

You know, I have had 2 babies and have lost a fair amount of weight for my body and I can tell you that, if you're not genetically predisposed to the skin going back in "shape" You're likely to have a "flap" with puckered stretch marks.

I really really want a tummy tuck but am SO afriad of going under the knife for something so frivilous, not to mention the insane cost.
