Default Stressed!!

Being stressed and/or upset is definitely my #1 diet killer and I cannot seem to get out of that stage right now. I am in grad school I have a huge paper and another big project due in a couple weeks and I have just been horrible food wise the past few days, just pretty much eating anything and everything.

I am just having such a hard time writing this paper, I hate the class that it is for, I don't reallly like/understand the material and I just can't seem to get myself fully focused or figure out how I want to write this damn thing. And all of that is coupled by the fact that I don't even know if I want to be in this grad program anymore. Ironically my paper is about the neurological side of obesity/food addiction,so you think reading about obesity and all that would make me less inclined to eat like a fool, but of course not.

Anybody have any advice as to how to keep from getting stressed/de-stress. I know exercise is a stress reliever and I've been keeping up with that somewhat, but it doesnt seem to be helping.

Yoga and meditation, it may seem silly at first, but a half hour later you will feel more peace, and the stress should be lifted.

Default just curious!

Can't help but ask....what is the grad program? I think helping obese kids would be an awesome second career.

I am in a graduate psychology program. We haven't really learned anything in relation to obesity in the program I am in, its just the topic I am choosing to write about for my neuropsychology paper. But there are plenty of people with psych degrees who do work either clinically or research in the field of obesity, so its definitely something you could do if you wanted.
