Hi everyone. I am new here and am looking to make new friends as I dedicate the next year to improving my health by the extra losing weight I have been carrying (and unfortunately adding on to) since my early 20s and picking up an exercise habit to deal with stress and to get in shape. While I do have an ideal weight (150) and size (8 or 10) I would like to reach, I am more interested in being able to walk places without getting winded and climb stairs without feeling like I am going to keel over.
As of today I have 91 pounds of fat I would like to lose. I plan on exercising and calorie counting to get me there. I feel like I am one of those folks who got caught up in the whirlwind of life (work, school, family) and stop paying attention to themselves. I know it's going to be hard and it's going to take time but I am determined to do it because I need to feel like I am living my life to the fullest
