W.O.W. Naughty & Nice Pre Christmas Challenge Week 3
Morning ladies!!
Eating was for crap yesterday but I'm planning on adding the treadmill on a regular basis this week. 3X a week c25k, the other 2 days just walking. I know that it helps me to lose weight by spending time on the treadmill.
I'm really stressed...I have a paper due tonight and I'm exhausted. My DH is supposed to be home tomorrow I'm guessing....with my luck he'll be here when I get home.
Weed for today:
W: 64-100 oz
e: Treadmill plus weights today

I did okay over the weekend. I actually did see 139.8 Sunday morning...but then i started with my tom and there went that. But on the plus side, my highest weight so far all day long has only been 142.8. That must mean when i am done, i will be 149!! I am going to work hard to keep my calories down and my water up. Definately got to get my excersize in this week, for sure!!!
Weed for today:
W- 8 glasses
E- 1200 calories
E- 60 minutes of strength traning and cardio (mixed)
D- down hill slide home....keep going!!!!
TOM's visiting me too. I guess it was him who was ranting on Friday night!
Having a hard time feeling normal this morning. I am doing things, but I don't feel like I am. TOM is really messing with my mind this time round.

Not a great weekend, cheated a bit too much. My official weigh in is Wednesday, but I'm going to cheat and pop on this morning, hoping there is a little loss to motivate me back on track.

D -- Make it through the kid's day off without wanting to mail them to my sister (they are feuding already)!!
No day off here either - oddly enuf the National Parties negotiated FRIDAY off for Veterans Day(??????) WhatEVAH. I'll take it!
Totally have been derailed since Halloween, basically - lots of Family Drama over the weekend - had to make an unscheduled trip "down home" to the country for an emergency. All has turned out pretty much ok . . . but got smashed by the Bud Light Truck while there!

After a couple of weeks away from you all, and lurking very infrequently, I'm going to make a huge effort to get back to you. Lots of new people in last week's thread - couldn't even keep up, so didn't try.
Big goings on in my life, like you all. Got mom placed in a facility near one of my sisters, but she's now almost 3 hrs away. Hard decision to make, but great for her. DS lives in Massena NY (near the Canadian border), so it's tundra in the winter, while worrying about lake effect snow on the way. Been up there a couple of times, but it will get diffucult soon. At least mom has a phone, so we'll keep in touch that way. Hard to get in touch with her, though - she's never in her room! She absolutely loves the social aspect of the place - she's much younger than many of the others, especially mentally. The guy in charge of activities gets a big kick out of her - while he's helping others paint egg cartons, mom's on the computer checking out YouTube.
As for the diet, I've been doing ok. I've lost 18 lbs since the beginning of Sept. and would like to lose at least another 7 before Christmas. I'm setting the goal low, because we all know what the holidays are like. I've been really diligent about the treadmill, but I'd like to either add time or up the incline - I'm not sure I'm ready for either, but I'll give it a go.
My WEED for this week:
W - 48 oz per day
E - strictly on program (except tonight, when I plan on having pasta )
E - 40 min treadmill daily
D - Feeling really good about all of the compliments lately - let's be self-centered and go for more!!

I got my first litre of water drank. Now on to the second litre! Chug-a-lug! I'm walking to the bank now and then my DS is home from school. Maybe I'll do some yoga poses or weights tonight.
Good morning! Sorry for not posting at all during the weekend - because of some visitors coming in I decided to kind of take the weekend "off." It was awful. Basically turned into 2 days of eating everything I could get my hands on! Yesterday I actually felt physically sick because of th greasy foods I'd had for the first time in a long time.
But today's a new day, and I'm picking myself up and continuing on.
W - 2L E - 40 minute video E - nothing processed, nothing greasy, nothing that I'll regret D - Remember that my body feels better when I eat better
Yesterday was good, did not quite drink all my water, but replaced none with beer or wine either!! Usually, I love my wine! LOL

E- 2 miles at lunch and a quick abs video shortly.
E- sticking with the low carb
D- Getting caught up at work, one step at a time.

I finished my paper last night right as i discovered the assignment due date was extended due to technical difficulties. I didn't get much sleep still...my poor dog has been having allergy issues and he's constantly itching. I used an oatmeal/aloe doggie shampoo and sorta wiped down his belly and applied some anti itch stuff.

Holyteror -- My sister is a veterinary technichian (sure I spelled both of these wrong!!) and her dogs have horrible allergies -- she give them Benadryl -- I would check with the vet first if you want to do this, but it helps the girls a lot. Glad you got your paper done.

E -- I've been sick, so I haven't exercised in a few days, but I'm not eating either -- so I think it's evening out

D -- Try to catch up on my "to do" list and the get to bed early thing sounds great, I may try that tonight, if I can get all my work done today.

Yes, clykkie, life just keeps getting in the way . . . focussed on my reaction to "life" . . . somehow - some way 've just GOT to quit thinking that stuffing myself is an acceptable reaction to change/stress/irl drama, ya know?

I really need to study a Pilates routine grazer - so I can just do it from memory when I'm alone and need a stretch in my office . . . really got into it awhile back . . . I remember our Beloved W.O.W. WEED Founder rowdybliss used to do Pilates in between meetings etc at her office. *searching for "How To" book*
Didn't rowdyb meet all of her goals and become a p.t. personal trainer?
I've given Benydryl to our dog b4 - usually in the spring - can't remember the recommended dose.
