Recently I have read post after post about women who can only shop at one or two stores. Or can not buy pretty bras, or can't buy lingerie.

And while I think it is a great end goal to walk into Victoria Secret/La Senza/La Vie En Rose/etc.

I am in dire need of sharing a few places for those who want to stop at 180... Or for those who've lost 50 lbs and want to treat them self now... Heck! You can simply do it for the sake of making yourself feel better as is.

No one should have to feel like they can't buy attractive undergarments if they need a larger or more unusual size.

I am going to put a for any companies I have worn product from so you can figure out which I know first hand... I am NOT... Repeat NOT listing any companies that had poor workmanship with a site but I will list a buyer beware at the end.

I am going to put a where a clothing line crosses over to another area. i.e. Bras is one part but full clothing line offered as well.

So I will start with bras (panties and shape wear also sold there):

First I am going to give you the low down on bras...

DD = E
DDD = F

For the most part... But not all brands are equal so here is a site to measure properly, and find out what size you are in each brand. It will also give you an idea about companies that carry your cup sizes:

Now I am at a loss for many of the smaller cup sizes but know many stores carry those (which you will likely find in the main clothing stores I will list further in) but for those who think pretty bras do not come in anything over a C I am here to tell you another story:

Panache Profile can range from 34-44 D-G depending upon band size with cup size.

If you live close enough to Toronto then arranging a proper fitting and sizing at THIS store is the way to go. It is not cheap but certainly worth the treat.

Now I cheat... I go in, get fitted, find makes and models I like... Keep track, buy one... MAYBE two and then go home and ebay the rest of the colours in that style. *naughty grin*

I shop at Victoria's Secret. Their underwear are the best. I wear size L now. I also have some of their bras and lingerie. So you don't have to be an itty bitty to shop there.

VS has some nice things... Unfortunately for me I will never be a VS woman. *le sigh* I wasn't when I had a 26 inch waist even... Though they do carry up to a 40 DD in certain styles.

I love Anita Bras. They have cute stuff, and then really functional stuff too. They also have a great nursing selection - even for the bigger gals.

Unfortunately, they aren't really carried in chain stores. Mostly, they're in small boutiques. My mil owns a small cancer boutique that stretched into fuller figure bras, so I'm very fortunate - first that I can get the bras and second for a killer family discount.

i don't really have a problem because all my life I have been a B cup, until I started losing weight. Now I think I'm a D because I am busting out of my C's. Once I lose some more weight, I'll go get properly fitted.
