Default My body needs a pick-me-up

Hey all! I'm new to the site and just wanted to say hi! I've been feeling very "blah" lately, and I know it's because of my unhealthy eating habbits. I've really wanted to get healthy lately, but with my schedule a "quick" lunch is usually all I have time for. Help?

OK, here is an easy thing to do for lunch with no more than 5 min extra time required.

When you cook dinner, make an extra portion. As you are dishing up dinner to serve, set aside that portion in a tupperware container. Next day, grab the container on your way to work! And....Done! If your dinner the day before was healthy and on whatever plan you're on, your lunch will be too. Not only that, but you'll be distributing your calories nicely throughout the day so you're not starving when you get home.

- keep posting! Can't wait to hear more from you.

Hi &

What worked for me was packing things up the night before. I have precious little time in the mornings. Similar to what Mandalinn said, this takes a whole week usually to get used to, but make a sandwich or salad the night before & stick it in the fridge. In the morning it's grab & go!

I don't always recommend this, but if you only once & awhile have a store made frozen meal to take, you'll at least have a good serving of something & know exactly what's in it.

However, if you -really- can't make anything beforehand, and have to eat out, get something that you know is at least healthier on the menu.

Knowing you want to change is the first step. I wish you the best of luck!
