Christitna...i never would judge someone with a child in juvi or any other form of discipline...since i've known GREAT parents that despite everything they;ve done, they're kids just don't do right in society. Some kids, no matter how good a parent is, they just end up getting in trouble. I really hope your son does straighten out and that the program he was in, helps him to see the light. Trust me...there are days i worry about having kids...since i know people who are great parents but their kids just end up being in trouble. Makes me worried about that. I'll have to admit..my parents were lucky..growing up me and my sis were good...but we also had a horse that kept us occupited. My mom always knew if we weren't at home...we were at the barn...and she was right. I hope dominic gets some help.
and sheila - i hope military school straitens your son out. He sounds like he's heading down a bad road too...but at least you are trying to do something to help prevent it. You gus are doing a great job. Hang in there.
hannha - how's the fire situation going. I hope things are ok there.

morning all doing a flyby i got sick this weekend and monday i was here at work looking like a hot mess i went home yesterday and slept all the way till this morning LOL still have this cough/head cold but feeling better

hey all..well i found out that there's a library right next to work...so i can check in on my lunch breaks (if i get one lol). That's probably better than going shopping and spending money LOL. Work is going pretty well today. I have LOADS of help. Its AWESOME!!!! Three pet nurses and a recp. We got 2 dental and a spay done prior to lunch and even a bunch of rooms. Amazing how smoothly things go when there is enough help.
yep lauren - we are in DESPIRATE need of rain. We got about 1 inch yesterday and today its on again off again slow drizzle...but we need some serious downpours. We are in a state of emergency right now due to our drought and a ban on all outdoor water usage has been in effect for about 2 months now. However, i really think it should have gone into affect much sooner. But i guess at least we can always ship water in???? I just feel bad for all those in cali.

The little ones are keeping me busy lately. I'm feeling so much better since they increased my thyroid meds that we have stayed on the go. The rest of the week is just as busy! All kinds of Halloween activities coming up. We are considering going camping this weekend, that should be fun. We have to have a camp site close to a bathroom (for mom, not the kids).

we were doing Ok until just a little while ago. The winds just turned and NOT in our favor, DH is outside clearing the yard, not much to clear we keep it very clean, but there are a lot of leaves, right outside my fence there are a bunch of pine trees planted by the city, we have a neighbor who is firefighter and just came home to his family, the told us what to clear and if we have to leave he suggested he leave the fence open on both sides of the house,he is the one who told us to clear all the leaves and move the bbq to the back of the yard. I am terrified, fil and mil got here last night. mil is in a wheel chair it she can't really do much. I am terribly scared, I am subbing.
Bluyeye is in Riverside county, not too close from here but she is an area as far as I know pretty dry, I hope she is OK.
Our cars are all packed and ready to go, the problem is there no where safe to really run to, the whole San Diego County is no fire. It is pretty bad.
If I can I will keep you posted. I have no idea what is going to happen yet. Let's hope the wind turns again.

Hello all! Hope those affected by the fire are nice and safe. I hope they can get things under control quickly.
Ordinary day here for me. Cold but the sun's finally out. I'm at work till 9, but threw together a chili for DH and the kids so they'll have something nice and hot to chow down on. It's low fat too, so I can have some for my lunch tomorrow.

Lauren: I Do Medical Billing...but I Am Also The Office Manager..and I Am Going To Be Trained To Be An Educator Also..meaning I Will Meet With Patients And Do Some Initial Nutrition Evaluations..lifestyle Those Types Of Things To Help Ensure A Safe/healthy Pregnancy...refer To Agencies If Needed..these Evaluations Are Done At Every Trimester For All The Patients We See..so Its Really Cool...they Are Pro Midwives/birthing Outside Of The Hospital/breastfeeding..so The Patients Have Tons Of Opportunities For Classes..infant Care/breastfeeding/lamaze..all Kinds Of Stuff..its A Great Place I Love It
