Stacey! I split off your post so you'd have your own intro and get more replies. You'll love it here.

Stacey,

Everyone loses a different amount of weight in P1 it really depends on how much you need to lose. I lost about 12 lbs but my mom who had more to lose, lost between 24-26lbs (can't remember exactly). Good luck on P1.

Hi Stacey and welcome!
I lost 5 lbs on Phase I. Ever since I've lost pretty steadily at an average of 2 lbs/wk.

Stacey!

SBD is a great plan. What you lose during Phase 1 differs for each person. If you have a lot to lose and have been eating drastically different from SBD for a long time, you can expect to lose a lot. But if you have only a little to lose or have been following plans similar to SBD, you won't lose very much in Phase 1. Either way, you will continue to lose and do so without cravings if you complete Phase 1 first. It's worth it!

Hi Stacey,

I usually lose between 10-15 pounds during the induction phase. After that it varies. I will lose between 1-4 pounds a week in phase 2. I usually lose pretty steady with the exception of that time of month when I will gain a couple...but it comes right back off...ex: If I gain 2-3 pounds the next week I will lose 3-4 or even 5 pounds.
