SBD is a great plan. What you lose during Phase 1 differs for each person. If you have a lot to lose and have been eating drastically different from SBD for a long time, you can expect to lose a lot. But if you have only a little to lose or have been following plans similar to SBD, you won't lose very much in Phase 1. Either way, you will continue to lose and do so without cravings if you complete Phase 1 first.
