Default The beginning is always the hardest!

Well - Yay me (I guess!) for losing two pounds in two weeks. That's a good healthy 1-lb per week loss, and so I am on my way (again).

Usually, after losing about ten pounds, I feel good & steady & ready to tackle the next ten. But when total weight loss = <5, I'm still in that "woe'ways me" frame of mind.

I am keeping my caloric intake between 1200-1300 per day, and using Slim Fast HI-Protein for yummy snackage. Getting my meal plans & so forth from E-diets (Slim Fast Optima plan - which doc has OK'd!)

Unfortunately.... No exercise just yet! - but hopefully I can start on the treadmill (again) soon (hoping for next week!) I know that it will be a slow build-up. I'll be impressed with myself if I can do 10 minutes on Level 1. My goal is 45 minutes - 1 hr of treadmill per day.

Wish me luck, y'all!

Hang in there, Beach Patrol! It's hard at first... and it's hard later on... and basically, it's hard! But, once you get back in the saddle again, you'll ride a bit more easily.

I do agree it's more difficult when you first start out. Getting used to something that we're not used to does take some, well - getting used to. Even if we've done it plenty of times previously. But you will get into it and then it will become somewhat easier. And you'll be so pleased with yourself that that alone will propel you to go further. It's a great cycle.

I wish you tons and tons of good luck. You'll be just fine, I have no doubt.

GOOD LUCK! I know you can do it. And I know how hard it is in the beginning - especially if you start comparing yourself to others on the site. I know you are familiar with this - just work at it and before you know it you will be at goal
