Default tired of dieting

Hi everyone! I just joined. I have been going to WW for 2 years now. weight was coming off really easy in the begining, but now have been in a rut for some time now. I am really glad I found this. I think I am sick and tired of dieting, been doing it off and on all my life. I want to be thin, but I also love the real food out there. Love the way it taste, smells and makes me feel while eating it. then after I regret eating it. Why wasnt I like some of these people out there that can eat anything they want and never gain a pound. All I have to do is look at it and gain 5 lbs. and once I start eating bad it is hard to get back to eating healthy again. I just crave the things I know I shouldnt be eating, and then the cycle starts all over again. then I tell myself ok tommorow I will do better. Yeah right! can anyone relate to this?

Oh yeah. I am the same way, but I want to be healthy and I do not want to have to buy clothes in the extra large sizes. So I put up with dieting , at my highest I was 206 . I think, I avoided the scale during that time.I do not want to go back there. I count calories and , I even binge once in awhile and when I binge it shows on the scale. I have to immediately get back on plan,it is not fun dieting but it is even less fun being overweight.

I started out at 275 LBS. 2 years ago. Yes I have come a long way, but it seems to be taking forever. I wanted to be below 200 before christmas. I havent been below that for 22 years. I know all about the extra large sizes. Its no fun shopping for them. Your also right about it not being fun being overweight. People just dont treat you the same. I think with the help from this website and my family, and God, I can do it.

Hi, I just joined. I was in WW 2 years ago and up until 6 months ago more or less maintaining my weight loss. Now for some reason my motivation is gone and I have stopped counting points and slacked off with the exercise. I am absolutley petrified to get on the scale because I know it will get me in a worse mood and then I will eat more!!!!! I think some days I should just bite the bullet, rejoin and start it all over again :-( .

Stop thinking of it as a diet and think of it as the way you eat to be healthy and thin and to give you energy! Diet mean you can go off it whne you lose weight and that's not the case. And you can have great food. Is food worth being unhappy about the way you look and feel? Make it a challenge to find food that taste's great and looks good and helps you maintain your weight. learn to cook in a different way. Take advantage of what you can have and not what you can't.

I wish I had been born one of those "thin" women too, but i wasn't and i have to work with what I have. So do you. I'm not trying to be mean, just face the fact. I will never be thin and be able to eat like my cousin. But she has chrone's disease and is not well. I am healthy, just a bit over weight, and i can work on that.
