Default Hi! New to 3FC and the 300+ forum

Hi everyone!

I am so encouraged by seeing so many of you losing so much! Was just wondering what diet everyone is using? I am partially disabled and cannot excercise, but hope to do some walking after I lose a bit more. Would love hearing from you!

Hi Labarb,

Welcome to our little corner of the world. So glad that you have decided to join us. Most people here post on either 300+ Club Weekly threador the Getting Fit after 40 Club. I think if you posted on one of those like you did here than you would get more responses.

I myself have done every single diet you can think of. Most Recently I was on WW for 6 months, then 5 months of a liquid diet called, "Optifast" then I had Weight loss surgery on August 29th of this year. There are all kinds of different programs that everyone is on.

The people here are amazing, supportive, encouraging and will give you that extra push when you need it.

At the beginning of each thread that I mentioned above is a little bit about that thread. Please make yourself feel welcome here.

I am looking forward to getting to know you more.

Blessings,
Annie AKA: dogpal.
P.S. I post on the 300+ Weekly thread even though I am over 40.

Welcome Barb!

I'm using Jenny Craig (check out Valerie on my avatar!). For me it works well because of the structure.

Good luck!

I'm not following any particular plan, more a mishmash - I use the WW point system, try to eat more whole/unrefined foods, and exercise daily. Some days are better than others!

Good luck in your journey and hope to see more of you around here!

Hi Barb,

Welcome. I'm calorie counting. Overall I eat a lot of whole foods, but I can eat whatever I want as long as I stay within range. I find the least restrictive plan works for me, and I voluntarily make choices most of the time that support my health.

We're all following different plans.

Welcome!

I'm also a calorie counter, but I have also changed a lot about how I eat and focus on making lots of healthy choices...
