As you see I got to my first goal. I've tried lots of things to lose weight, and what I've found is the best general thing for me is to count calories in foods. You can do this online at different websites like FitDay, TheDailyPlate, and others. The calories of foods are often already on the website--you just have to enter what you eat in your log.
The best way to go is to eat healthy foods in restricted amounts. You can restrict either by calories, or by portions, or by points (Weight Watchers) or some other system, but you should choose one and stay with it.

It's really not possible to lose 10 pounds a week in a healthy way.
You'll probably have to get the crisps, cookies, ice cream, etc. out of the house to get started on losing. If you just can't stop yourself then the best thing to do is get them far away. Lock them up. Whatever.
