
I did it. I have been going to the gym for 2 weeks now, 5 days a week. Today, I used the strength training machines 16 reps each 2x and walking on the treadmill for 40 minutes. I have lost 2 lbs. and I swear my abs and butt are more toned.
I was doing my second round of machines when an older gentleman asked me if I felt this was worth it. I told him, "Yes it is. I have 4 sons and this is my "me" time. I really enjoy working out despite how hard it can be." He said, "I am proud of you. Enjoy your work-out." How awesome is that?!!
I also forgot to mention that yesterday was my youngest son's 3rd birthday. We went to Mcdonalds for his lunch and I ate a southwest salad with grilled chicken. I didn't get any fries or eat any fries. I ate my salad and a small piece of brownie. Woo hoo there too!!
