Thanks for the links. I've had a few people say to me, "I'd go vegan, but I'm too poor." It gets kind of annoying since I'm living on a budget and I do just fine.

The $$ is just an excuse IMO!! I'd go vegan and but I'm too undisciplined AND I ADORE STINKY CHEESE!! - at least I'm honest!

BTW I don't know where in CA you're from but have you tried Madeliene's Bistro in Tarzana (L.A. burb?) EXPENSIVE AND WORTH IT!!! If you ever want to really celebrate something big and do it up right, YUM! That's a delish place, even non-vegans rave, and the wine list is great too. AND THE DESSERTS!
