Default Another comforting scale story!

Someone else did this not so long ago - Azure, I think? - and after she'd related how much weight can fluctuate without the world ending/it all being over for your weightloss efforts, I felt calmer! So I thought I'd share my own story from this week, if it helped reassure anyone like Azure's did it'd be good.

Last week on monday I was 130lbs and the week before I was 129lbs, so I wasn't happy. Worse, tuesday was a bit up from that, and on wednesday I weighed in at 132lbs. I didn't quite know why, I certainly hadnt overeaten by more than 500cals the previous week in total, and was working out.

Well its a week on from that and I'm back down to 129lbs, 3lbs back down in one week. I've been eating about 1800 cals a day and excercising about 40 minutes a day. It wasn't TOM water retention because I take the pill continuously and don't have periods (well one every few months).

So I just want to tell people in midst of a full scale drama (haha!) dont panic , there is probably no need to.

Emily I'm so proud of you and what you are doing! I can tell that your attitude has changed a lot just through reading your posts lately. Seriously, I really think you are on the right track. Especially not to have had that scale weirdness weirding you out. Congrats to you and keep up the great work!

I agree with modkittn. You seem to be attentive to your body's natural changes for what they are, not threatened by them. It's great to read.
